Sound and Vibrational Therapy

Sound Therapy uses vibration in a profound and trans-formative way to create positive change within the body, to improve the quality of life and to promote physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Why Sound can be used as a Healing Method?
Sound is a creative and healing force. Sound is the meeting place of the abstract (thought) and manifested ideas ( physical reality). Sound can penetrate any substance, move molecules and rearrange realities. Sound can reach areas where hands and words can not go. Sound can flow through the entire body cleansing and clearing unwanted energy or blockages and replenishing it with a feeling of wholeness, balance, aliveness and vitality.

How long has Sound Therapy been around?
Sound Healing is an ancient art form. Cultures have used Sound throughout history as a powerful healing tool and it is considered to be one of the first healing modalities. Sound Healing was used by the people of Egypt, Persia, China, Greece and continues to be used by cultures and tribes though out the world.

Sound in medicine...

Ultrasound, bio-feedback, radionics all work on the premise of using frequency or wave formations to affect and change matter. Sound is an energy which takes the form of wave patterns. These waves can be scientifically measured in units called hertz (hz) which measure the cycles per second which the energy creates. Anything that vibrates create harmonics. High frequency harmonics have a neuro-physiological effect which changes the brain. Vocal harmonics can create changes in the heartbeat, respiration and brainwaves. Portions of the brain when resonated and activated by sounds can release different hormones and chemicals. Sound has been known to stimulate healthy cell growth.

Why does Sound Therapy work?
Everything in the universe vibrates at a specific frequency. Everything surrounding us is in constant motion and our bodies are in constant flow. Every part of our body, every organ, muscle, tissue and bone vibrates at a particular frequency. When we are in harmony everything runs smoothly, we feel healthy, energized, free of pain or discomfort and experience life in a positive way. Stress, pain, anger, grief, guilt, shame, sadness and fears cause an imbalance to our natural state of harmony, lowering our vibration. Our bodies react and we become ill, starting at a level we are often unaware of …dis-ease occurs until we are brought back into balance. Sound restores our vibrational level and balance when parts of our body are out of tune. When our car is running rough we take it in for a tune-up. When a musical instrument is off key we have it tuned. Sound Healing helps to keep our body in tune.

Testimonial:

I have been taking my children to see Tracie for Sound and CranioSacral Therapy for about a year now. Tracie works with my youngest to help his hyperactivity and lack of focus.  I can definitely say that I see a difference in him after the sessions.  After his last session he came out looking like he was half asleep!  My oldest has had the biggest improvements since seeing Tracie.  He has had a lot of self-esteem issues and holds on to a lot of stress for such a young boy. Most of that stress is related to going through a divorce.  His self esteem has increased tremendously due to Tracie's sessions.  He shares his feelings more and he truly looks forward to seeing Tracie and having his treatments.
